Your environment shapes you. Made from hair, the female louse sits on her impressive clutch of eggs. Eggs which have multiplied and conquered the starchy rice fluid designed to eradicate them. Rice above!

A Little Bit About The Artist

A Statement From The Artist

Asia Nowicki is a London born and Brighton based artist who playfully delves into the realms of gender psychology and the Dark Feminine through sculptural formations.
With a background in sculpture and a deep fascination for the enigmatic, Asia explores the interplay between art and artist, infusing her work with elements of motherhood and feminine ferocity which is presented through a neurodiverse lens.

Inspiration finds Asia in diverse and unexpected sources. From spiritual beings to anonymous
individuals or even a lowly head louse, her muse can manifest in countless forms.
Conversations, random thoughts, vivid dreams, and energetic forces all fuel her creative process.
Art serves as a means to navigate a world where normality often demands conformity.
It offers a glimpse into the unscrambling of complex thoughts and emotions, connecting with others who share similar entangled paths…
